On Sunday, we attended the Adoption Assistance Annual Picnic. It was a great time - thanks Julie and Bill and all those that helped out!! We got to see families we hadn't seen since last year and met new families as well. They had pony rides, face painting, music, and swingsets/jungle gyms. We didn't get there until about 4:00 (it began at 3:00), but still got to talk with friends, eat a delicious dinner catered by Lee's and eat ice cream! We can't wait for next year's picnic!!
Lucas had chicken, mashed potatoes, a biscuit and green beans - for a 15 month old, he certainly can eat! He decided that eating the potatoes with one fork just wasn't gonna do it, so he grabbed Scott's fork too and was eating from both!
After dinner, an ice cream truck came by and Lucas got an Oreo ice cream sandwich. To say the least, Lucas was in Heaven!! He so enjoyed the ice cream!!
I don't know if it was the sugar but he was all smiles after the ice cream sandwich! Below is what Lucas looked like after the ice cream - his shirt was hungry too so Lucas fed it some ice cream as well! Looking at the cookie on Lucas' face, I wonder if that is what he would look like with facial hair, a goatee possibly :o)??? Hmmmmm???
