Biker Baby Lucas

Here is Lucas in his Harley-Davidson shirt and overalls. We decided to try the bandana - he actually left it on for more than a minute - though as you can tell, he did try pulling it off!! We do need to get him a Harley-Davidson bandana though to match his 'Biker Baby' ensemble!
Basically Lucas wants us to hurry up, get the pictures taken so he can go ahead and start playing again! He is such a good sport humoring us taking his picture all the time! What a little trooper!

Tiki KittyCat LOVES Me!!!

Lucas and his Tiki Lucas was taking a nap on our couch next to me when Tiki (our big ole 5 year old cat), jumped up next to him and began to snuggle with Lucas. I thought it was too cute not to get a picture of! This cat LOVES Lucas -- and is so patient with him when Lucas 'pets' (more like smacks) him. This cat is amazing!! I think the 'boys' will be lifelong friends!

Two Months Ago Today

Two months ago today, Scott and I met the LOVE of our LIVES --- LUCAS!! It was about 6:00pm when our FosterMother walked in with our precious son in her arms. He was sleeping and looked like a little angel. I have that image memorized in my mind. Yes, we have pictures of him (and videos) since he was a newborn but to finally meet OUR SON in person, to hold him, feed him, cradle him and never let him go was amazing!!


We can't believe it! He is such a miracle and joy!! It is amazing at how much he has changed in the two short months since we have had him!! He has gone from a baby to a little boy learning to walk and talk. We are so very blessed to have him in our lives!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

Of all the clothes I have, we realized today that I don't have many green things! Imagine that!! Better contact my personal stylist, my Aunt A.!!!
I'm adorable! What else can I say!!

My Elmo Towel

Hi! I just got out of the bathtub and Mommy put me in my nice, warm Elmo towel. I just LOVE Elmo!! Mommy saw the towel at a store and HAD to get it for me! I'm such a lucky boy!!
Here I am dancing to one of my stuffed animal Elmos. He is sitting at my feet and when you push his belly, he sings 'Elmo Loves You So So Much'. I just love that song!! The towel is a bit big but that is okay - I can use it for a long time!
Look at me standing up (with Daddy's help 'cause I wasn't really in the mood to stand on my own). I am growing up fast! I am standing, and cruising all over the house!! Mommy and Daddy think I will be walking very, very soon!!

Mommy and I are going on a plane ride to see Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle R., Aunt A., and Uncle B. as well as to meet lots of friends in North Carolina!! I am also going to get my picture taken with my furry bunny cousin Chopper! He looks like the Cadbury bunny!! Oh, we are sooo excited. Daddy is staying home since he has to work alot during that week! We are going to miss him lots but will bring him home some presents because we love him soooo much!

Gotta Love Thin Mints!!

Hi Mommy! No, I'm not doing anything --especially not getting into the box of Thin Mints sitting here next to me, I promise!!
Well, Mommy turned her back for a minute! Ha!! That's all it takes for me to get my hands on these Thin Mints!! They are soooo good!! This box is mine - Mommy and Daddy will have to get their own box!!
I'm gonna try eating this with no hands! Then I can put one more cookie in each hand!! Oh these cookies are so yummy - no wonder Mommy and Daddy didn't want to share! They said it was because they were chocolate but the real reason is that they are muy, muy yummy!

Hurricane Lucas

Ummm, yep!! Sure am!! I LOVE redecorating Mommy's living room!! And she keeps it 'decorated' that way all day long!! But... there must be a fairy or something that doesn't like my sense of style because when I wake up, all the toys are in the bins and I have to redecorate all over again!!

Two Lucases

He can be happy one minute... then having a crying fit the next!
He's teething with 2 new teeth coming in so the 2 Lucases have been visiting alot lately!!

Boy, I'm Exhausted!!

Lucas was busy playing with his toys. Next thing I saw was this.... he fell asleep on the floor! Bless his heart, he just couldn't wait to go into his crib!
Mommy's Little Sleeping Angel

Look at ME!!

WooHoo!! Look at me standing!! I can actually stand on my own all by myself for about 5 seconds or so but my question is... WHY?? Crawling and cruising are fine modes of transportation!! I'm in NO hurry!!
