Yesterday, we decided to go into Lexington for a little visit with Santa. We got Lucas ready and headed into town. There was no one in line so we were able to walk right up! That was great! So, we get up to Santa and Lucas suddenly wants to cling to me. So, we both walked up to Santa and Santa asked if Lucas could give him a 'high five'. Lucas thought that was cool but it still took him a few minutes to warm up to Santa. Santa was AWESOME - such a kind, gentle, caring man!! And his 'photo elves' were great too! Once Lucas was sitting with Santa, he decided to give the 'elves' and Mommy and Daddy a run for their money to get him to smile! We tried everything to get him to smile but he either 1) smiled but didn't look at the camera or 2) looked at the camera but didn't smile. He was one tough customer. Thank goodness no one was waiting behind us! They took probably a dozen or more photos and we wound up with 2 that were okay. So, we chose the one attached with him 'snuggling' with Santa. Please take note of what Lucas' shirt says...
