Firetruck Santa?

On Sunday, Santa came to visit all the good boys and girls in the area. He rode on the back of a firetruck with its lights and sirens going. Lucas thought it was really neat! He waited patiently as the truck went up the hill to turn around and came back through the neighborhood to give children treats. Lucas and I waited by the road in our driveway for Santa to stop at our house. He gave Lucas a bag full of goodies and hopped back onto the firetruck to ride to the next neighborhood with his fireman elves.

This has become another tradition for us and we really appreciate these guys coming out in all types of weather to spread holiday cheer. It's little things like this that make us happy to live where we do. People care about others and aren't too busy to remember to spread the Christmas spirit. Just look at Lucas' smile!
